What we collect when you use this website, who sees it, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted.

Who we are

WeCare Service Provider, a licensed California Home Care Organization (licence #414700154), 659 Oak Grove Ave, Menlo Park, CA 94025. Phone (650) 546-9387. Email [email protected]. WeCare is responsible for how this information is handled. Ask us anything about it.

What this website collects

The care formYour name, your phone number and email if you give them, who the care is for, the kind of help you said would be useful, and how many hours you are thinking about.
Job applicationsIf you apply for a job: your contact details, the work you are looking for, your education, work history, caregiving experience, availability, references, and any certificates you attach. We do not ask for your Social Security number, date of birth, health or criminal history on the website. Only the WeCare staff who hire can see applications, in the same private app as inquiries. Certificates are stored privately and are never published.
The chat assistantThe chat bubble on this website is an AI assistant, labelled as one. It answers only from what WeCare has published about its care, areas and how to get started. What you type is sent to Anthropic's Claude, through Next Loop Co., so it can write the answer. The conversation is not saved by WeCare or by Next Loop Co., and it closes when you leave the page. To stop misuse we count questions against a scrambled code made from your internet address, never the address itself. Anthropic handles the chat under its commercial terms, which say it does not train its models on it. The assistant can get things wrong, so for anything that matters, call us.
Visit countingWhich pages and sections were seen, how far down the page people scrolled, which buttons were clicked, roughly how long the visit lasted, and which website or search sent you here.
Nothing elseWe do not run ads, we do not use advertising or retargeting pixels, and we do not buy or sell lists.

Please keep medical details out of the form and the chat

We do not need a diagnosis, medication list or medical history to call you back, so please do not put them in the form or the chat. Anything of that kind belongs in the conversation with WeCare, not in a web form.

Why we collect it

The form exists so WeCare can call you back about care. That is the only thing we use it for. We do not add you to a newsletter, and we will not contact you about anything else unless you ask.

The visit counting exists so we can see which parts of this page are useful and which are not. It is counted in a way that cannot identify you: no cookies are set, your IP address is not stored, and nothing you type into the form is ever read by it. The tracker is Insight, built and run by Next Loop Co., who built this site.

Your browser does store two things for the length of your visit: which website sent you here, and any campaign tag in the link you followed. They are sent with your inquiry so WeCare knows where you found her, and they disappear when you close the tab.

Who can see it

Your inquiry is saved in WeCare's private inquiry app, which only the WeCare staff who need it can sign in to, and a copy is emailed to her work inbox. Her phone gets a short alert with your first name only, never the details of the care you asked about. If you book a consultation, the booking sits in her Google Calendar. Nobody else receives your inquiry, and it is never sold or shared for marketing.

The inquiry app is built and run for WeCare by Next Loop Co., a web studio in the Bay Area, on Cloudflare's servers in North America. Next Loop Co. keeps it running and does not use your information for anything else. We also use Google (Workspace, for email and the calendar), Resend (which delivers the email copy) and Cloudflare (which serves this website). They hold the information only to provide those services to us.

How long we keep it

Your choices

Call (650) 546-9387 or email [email protected] and you can ask us to:

We answer within 45 days, as California law requires, and we will never treat you differently for asking. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. Because nothing here is tied to an identifier, a Global Privacy Control signal has nothing to act on.

Disclosures

Photographs

The event photographs are real, taken at senior-care gatherings across the Peninsula. Some of the photographs showing care at home are illustrations created with AI, using the likeness of Lucky and her caregivers with their permission, because filming in a client's home would intrude on the person being cared for. The phone screen in the "Never wonder how mom or dad is doing" section is a mockup, labelled as sample content.

Reviews

Every review on this site was written by a real person, unpaid, and is published with their permission. Client reviews are shortened for length but never reworded. Reviews from caregivers are labelled as staff, because they work for WeCare.

What we do and do not provide

WeCare provides non-medical home care: help with daily living, companionship, medication reminders, meals, mobility and housekeeping. We are not a home health agency and do not provide skilled nursing, wound care or therapy. Nothing on this website is medical advice.

Accessibility

This site is built to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA and is tested with a keyboard and an automated scanner. If any part of it is hard to use, call (650) 546-9387 and tell us, and we will fix it and help you in the meantime.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. The version you agreed to is the one that was live when you sent your inquiry.
